God expects us to seek, recognize, and act on truth. Our ability to receive and apply truth is dependent on the strength of our relationship with the Father and the Son, our responsiveness to the influence of the Holy Ghost, and our alignment with latter-day prophets.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;We need to remember that Satan works to keep us from truth. He knows that without truth, we cannot gain eternal life. He weaves strands of truth with worldly philosophies to confuse us and distract us from what is communicated by God.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Truth taught without love can cause feelings of judgment, discouragement, and loneliness. It often leads to resentment and division\u2014even conflict. On the other hand, love without truth is hollow and lacks the promise of growth.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>October 2017 General Conference\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/davidson-law.net\/CR\/2017%20Oct%200204%20PingreeJC.pdf\">I Have a Work for Thee<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;God has important work for each of us.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;These divine assignments are not reserved for a privileged few but are for all of us\u2014regardless of gender, age, race, nationality, income level, social status, or Church calling. Every one of us has a meaningful role to play in furthering God\u2019s work.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;As we discover our gifts, we have a responsibility to develop them.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Our trials help us discover and prepare for the work Heavenly Father has for us.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Rely on God.
